Beijing International Copyright Trade Center is actively preparing for the transition to the new China International Copyright Trade Center. It will be a China Cultural Property Trade market, which integrates trademarks, patents and all kinds of related copyright business.

The new China International Copyright Trade Center will be located in the core area of Central Business District in Beijing, including China Publication Museum, Exhibition Center, Trade Center, Business Center, Financial Center, Performance Center and Service Center.

History

• Officially launched the Beijing International Copyright Trade Center project on June 6, 2006
• Beijing Municipal Party Committee Secretary Liu Qi listened to the report on Beijing International Copyright Trade Center Project.
• China Copyright Industry Promotion Association was founded by Beijing International Copyright Trade Center on April 28, 2007.
• Beijing International Copyright Trade Center successfully held the service promotion conference and did the first business promotion publicly. The representative of EU trade institutions, the Commercial and Cultural Counselor Embassy from United States, Britain, Germany, Finland, Ukraine, South Korea, Japan and other countries and regions attended the conference.
• E-commerce copyright exchange and data service platform of www.e-bq.com was on line for trial run on May 26th, 2007.
• Beijing International Copyright Trade Center was successfully founded.
• Beijing Municipal Party Committee Secretary Liu Qi researched Beijing International Copyright Trade Center again, listened to the operational work report and made an important presentation.
• China International Copyright Trade web (English version) was officially launched.
• Beijing International Copyright Trade Center, with the China Audio & Video Copyright Collective Management Association, China Written Works Copyright Society, and Images Copyright Society of China inaugurated the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation on January 23, 2008
• Beijing International Copyright Trade Center was awarded "Beijing Copyright Trading Base" by Beijing Copyright Bureau on April 4th, 2008.
• Beijing International Copyright Trade Center was granted the title "National Copyright Trade Base" by the Chinese National Copyright Administration on February 9, 2009.
• China Intellectual Property Protection Platform was founded and the Creative Safe Box project was started from July 16, 2009.
• National Museum, China Publication Museum was officially launched.
• The 2nd China International Copyright Expo was hosted in Beijing Convention Center during October 24-27, 2009
• Creative Economy Symposium was held in Beijing International Copyright Trade Center. Internationally known creative industry scholar John Hawkins was invited as the Honorary Consultant of Beijing International Copyright Trade Center
• Beijing Municipal Party Committee Secretary Liu Qi listened to the project report on China Publication Museum.
