About the Author:

Miss Meng Hui, belonging to the Daur ethnic group, was born in the 1960’s. In 1987 she studied at the Department of the History of Arts of the Central Arts Institute of China. From 1990 to 1993 she studied in France and then she worked at the Arts Museum of Beijin, China. Now she is an editor at Sanlian Bookstore, Beijin. Trained with the study of the history of arts, she is good at textual research, which makes her essays and novels unique in combining the history with the present.
